OUR STORY.

We teamed up to create HOOK SPLINT with the hand therapist, hand surgeon and most importantly the patient in mind. We knew there had to be a better, simpler, and more comfortable way to create custom splints. Our silicone coated bands are easy to make, saving you time and money. The splint is SIGNIFICANTLY more comfortable than current materials. It has the feel of an Apple Watch band or silicone ring. This leads to greater patient satisfaction, compliance and ultimately results. Our first product, designed as a relative motion orthosis or yoke splint, has been immensely popular. BIOS:

Dr. Harrison Solomon, MD F.A.A.O.S is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery in Chevy Chase, MD. He attended the prestigious NYU Langone School of Medicine. This was followed by an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Maryland and a hand fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Solomon is a perennial top doctor in the field of hand surgery as rated by his peers in Washingtonian Magazine and Castle Connolly. 

Chava Perelman, MS, OTR/L, CHT is an Occupational Therapist specializing in hand therapy. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Science and Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2014 from Touro College in New York City. She is working in a concierge hand therapy practice in South Florida (Avacure.com).
